A limited-edition CD and download released June 2023 by Wormhole World using the 7 Zen art aesthetic principles as their inspiration. The album resonates with the groups range of quiet rapture to energetic driving amalgam of melodies and timbres.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Jamie Cook at Cupola studios.
The CD is housed in a wallet cover designed by Ruben Buffery displaying reproductions of 4 of the artist Catherine Dee’s Hawthorn drawings.

A shimmering woodland improvisation by the 2021 line up of Shunyata Improvisation Group at their first face to face meeting, responding and working with the natural sounds of the wood. There is an ease of playing throughout representing the naturalness of the group’s Zen aesthetic.

Pivot Moments 2, released 2021 released by Wormhole World
https://wormholeworld.bandcamp.com/album/pivot-moments-2 Pivot Moments 2 specifically invited the Pals of RTProjects to record short personal statements which describe momentary feelings of ease, deep wellbeing and openness. Using these recorded spoken word pieces as a foundation Shunyata Improvisation Group and Posset created improvisations, soundscape and took sound recordings to provide additional source material for the album. All the source material was provided to all the collaborators to then select process and mix independently. RT Projects produced the stunning art work for the album. The end result is an intriguing album with three diverse tracks which speak to the human spirit’s resilience within the challenging times of the Covid 19 pandemic. |

Pivot Moments, released 2020, released by TQN-aut label
https://tqn-aut.bandcamp.com/album/pivot-moments Pivot Moments is the latest collaboration between Posset and the Shunyata Improvisation Group. The album is a collage of spoken word describing personal moments of wellbeing combined with improvisations in sound and music. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, recordings and improvisations were made separately by group members then mixed by Posset and trubba not (Shunyata Improvisation Group) independently. The results are a flow of descriptions of warm positive life moments with accompanying improvisations which ebb and flow alongside the spoken word. |
